By no means am I qualified at all to take on this subject, but I figure that it wouldn’t hurt to start a discussion. A subject like this, I believe, is a conversation that goes on forever. There is no end to wisdom. (At least until perfection comes). I am just adding my interjections to keep the conversation going.

The supreme element in getting anywhere in this Christian walk is gaining the wisdom and understanding that it takes to get there.

We cannot get past our thoughts. A man goes where his thoughts go.

Solomon writes “do not forsake wisdom and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.” Wisdom is supreme. Growing in wisdom and understanding will not only take sacrifice it will cost you all that you have. The Bible defines true wisdom as that which begins with a profound reverence for God. Proverbs 1:7 says that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” Out of this grows our understanding of sin and our need for a savior.

Wisdom seeks to understand God’s ways and to walk in them. Thus, in this sense, wisdom is life’s greatest priority.
